The war on marijuana.
I feel like the American government spends way too much time being concerned about keeping marijuana illegal. What these lawmakers should be focusing on is the immense number of people that marijuana helps. I am a prime example of this. I have a number of mental disorders, and smoking marijuana has always helped me. And cancer patients use it for the pain of chemotherapy. Who are these arrogant lawmen to tell us that marijuana should be illegal? Why haven’t they realized it can be taxed just like cigarettes and alcohol. And honestly, alcohol is worse for you than marijuana in many ways. There has never been a report of death from marijuana, but alcohol causes people to lose all inhibitions, and make stupid choices. Not to mention it’s extremely addictive. It’s sad how many people out there are suffering from alcoholism. It’s a terrible disease. It ruins the lives of billions of people every year. In order to overdose on marijuana, you have to smoke your body weight in fifteen minutes. Not a single person can do that. With alcohol, there’s no telling how much it takes to kill you or give you alcohol poisoning because when you get drunk, it’s difficult to stop drinking usually.
